What - Sail Aid International

Sail Aid International is a non-profit organization affiliated with Move to Matter, a Connecticut based 501(c)3 non-profit, dedicated to delivering useful needed supplies to islands and coastal villages by volunteers on sailboats. We are sailors who want to help others while out sailing around the world, cruising, or just being somewhere on our boat. Most of the places we go are inhabited by simple people living subsistence lives without much money, maybe no jobs or government services, maybe no doctors nearby, maybe no electricity or running water, so anything we can bring or do to lend them a hand will be significant and make a difference.

What Boat Sequoia Sun is Captain on Tandemeer, a 1980 Nautical Development 56’ ketch donated to International Rescue Group in 2013 and now operated by Sail Aid International. DONATE Sail Aid International is a non-profit organization, 501(c)3 status pending approval. Sail Aid operates with no overhead, so 100% of all donations of money, services and goods are 100% effective and go directly to people we serve in Haiti and other islands around the world. We have no offices, employees, salaries or overhead of any kind, just volunteers on sailboats helping other people along the way.
